My War Stories
  
  1944 May 1944 entered service, discharged May 1946 in the Navy. Joined in Indiana, went to Great Lakes and then to Kansas then to San Francisco. In San Francisco started Marine training, then in November 1944 was disbanded but still was being sent overseas. Went to Marshall Islands, Marianas, and Guam then hooked up with See Bees in December 1944. Built Navy supply depot and housing. Was on one of the first Pacific ships to come up to New York for decommissioning.
