I would like to have your service contact the following WW - U.S.N. Veteran who served on the U.S.S. Francks(I believe this is a correct spelling), destroyer. By chance I came to know Mr. Jones as I was checking out a book on naval destroyers last year. He is suffering from macular degeneration and has very limited eye site. His mind is clear and he said no one has talked to him about his service. One of his stories is being in Tokyo Bay next to the U.S.S. Missouri for the peace treaty signing. I am not sure exactly how this site works and request you contact him for an interview to preserve his service. He has a model of his ship, about 30 inches long and poiinted out where he was stationed on it. The information I have provided is his phone number and current address. The email address is mine.

Please respond if you have contacted him...and tell him hello from Joe Bridges. Thanks.
