Overall: Paul was a modest man and didnt like to discuss what he had experienced during the war. After the events at Pearl Harbor he felt obliged to serve his country even before the draft. He became a Sergent in the Psychiatric hospital for the majority of the war moving from hospital to hospital as the American army performed the successful island hoping campain.
After the war he went to college tried a a few jobs before becoming a Methodist minister. Paul was a man who always wanted to help people but the war undoughably changed his life. |

Joing the army as W. Paul Mustard his first name was only an inital that the military replaced with William a relatives name. His mother not likeing the name william made it an inital and he was known to everybody as his middle name Paul. |

Working in the Psychatric hospital many patients had suffered from Post-Traumatic Strees and one patient thinking Paul was a Japanese soldier attacked him with a knife. Paul using force or words (unclear which it was) convinced the man that he wasn't Japanese and to put hte knife down. |

First Time Intoxicated: Paul became drunk for the first time overseas, hated it, and never drank alcohol again. |

When he arived home there was no party or people waiting. He got of the boat and when home to his mother and siblings. |
